Out and About in Chicago

Here are a few shots of the Blackstone Renaissance--we thought it was a very cool hotel!
We took a ride on the "L" and walked around Bucktown/Wicker Park
Street musician
 Need some eyeglasses?
 Or a monkey....or a hi-five?
 Great buildings
I always love street art   ("Rise all freedom fighters, rise, and take your stance once again"--Bob Marley)
Some of my favorite guys
And quite a roll call of activists
 Lovely houses
Waiting for the train back.  I think I really am a city girl at heart!

Love the hotel! I sure hope that girl walking in there with the big 'ol iced tea did not spill it on that gorgeous carpet.

Oh, how cool, I can prove I am not a robot by typing Richard. :)

Funny you should say that. I did not trip and fall with my tea but the night before we were eating dinner and I walked out to go to the bathroom, tripping at the top of the stairs and nearly stumbling all the way down. Luckily I caught myself! :)

Well that would have made for an extended vacation, now wouldn't it?
