Our lovely stay comes to an end

More sights around the grounds of Buttermilk Falls

The Gindelle Suite, where we stayed, is on the second floor

Main office building and breakfast/afternoon tea room

Henry's at the Farm Restaurant

Breakfast offerings on our last day

Zucchini and apricot muffins--yum!

After breakfast, we went back to the spa, where we were all supposed to have pedicures before leaving for New York City.  Unfortunately, there was some kind of mix-up and they only had one appointment scheduled. They said they would not be able to squeeze the other two in, so we cancelled and decided to drive up into the Catskills to take a fall foliage tour train ride.

It had been a little rainy and drizzly during our stay but the sun was shining when we left and we enjoyed our very scenic drive to the train ride, including getting lost several times.  :)

Train ride in the forest sounds way more fun than a pedicure. :) This place looked wonderful--I am so jealous.

It was so nice. Maybe we should plan a trip one day!
