Mt. Tomah Botanical Gardens
The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden in Mount Tomah is Australia's premier cool-climate botanic garden. The garden covers 28 hectares at 1000 meters above sea level. We spent several hours strolling among the many gorgeous plants and flowers on a lovely sunny day. I've never seen such a variety! This was one of my favorite things that we did in Australia.
Sometimes it just does the heart good to wander around in the sunshine, surrounded by the beauty of nature, doesn't it? Not in a rush, nowhere else to "be" and time to breathe. And it's so interesting to examine the design and the intricacies of the different flowers. Some of them made me think that Mother Nature definitely has a sense of humor!
The proteas are fun and colorful
Someday I would love to have a beautiful (small) garden of my own.

These are my favorite of your trip! Isn't it amazing the different varieties of flora found throughout the world? I think I see some winners here for Rich's next show.
It was gorgeous and so interesting to see the varieties of plants and flowers. Loved it there!
