Family Photos
One of my requests for this trip was to try to get some family photos since we are rarely all together. I thought it would be nice to have some made for Mom and, of course, wanted some for myself, too! My son in law David agreed to be our official photographer and was kept very busy all week taking lots of pix. We decided to gather the whole clan one evening and take some group shots. Big groups are notoriously hard to do and huge groups like ours are nearly impossible, but David managed to get most of us looking our best. Rich and I also took a few candid shots--above, Ally, Elle and I are waiting for everyone to get ready.
About to head down to the beach--Sarah, Beck, Elle, Ally, Bonnie and Emery

We tried to get Mom with just the great-grandkids, which was a bit of a fiasco! We had several crying and several eating sand.
Nope, this is not working too well!
Mom with her four kids, most of our spouses, 16 grandkids with most of their spouses, and 12 great grandchildren
We failed to get a family group shot of just my crew so I cropped us out of the big picture. :)

My niece Alex and me. Everyone thinks we look alike!
The night on the beach was super hectic, Beck had a mouth full of sand, it was hot and some were grumpy so we thought we would have time to do our family group another time. I also wanted a photo of Rich and me with all the grandkids. Alas, it was not to be. We just never had a good time to get everyone together again. David did do some individual family groups on other days and got some wonderful photos. Here are a few of Miles, Sarah, Elle and Beck. I had a hard time choosing just three but I love all of these.

Here's Emery hanging out waiting for her Daddy to be finished taking photos of everyone else!
Bonnie and Emery--poor David was too busy taking photos to get in very many himself. We should have been more organized and planned for someone else to take their family photos.
On another morning, David shot some beautiful photos of Susan, Corey, Aidan and Ally. Again, I had a terrible time choosing just a few but I love all of these.

If you are on Facebook, go to David Williams Photography and you can see lots more. He also has some gorgeous photos of Kristinn, Tim and kids, Vicki and Asher, and Alana and Oren but I don't have copies to post here.
David can even make the old fogies look good! Thanks, Dave!

Clearly, there was a dress code for the week. LOL Looks like you all were having a good time.
LOL Yes, we told everyone to bring white shirts for group photos. :)
Jane,
I love all the pictures from your stay up north and the ones David took. Looks like y'all had a great time in Jersey!
