Guest blogger Rich checking in. We are unwinding in Vancouver and Jane is getting a little reprieve from her hectic 16 hour days in Denver. I have some photos of the local architecture, people, and signs around the streets. Yesterday we hoofed it across town and over a large bridge to Granville island, which has a Farmer's Market renowned for its food and shops. Today we had Sunday brunch at the Top of Vancouver, a revolving restaurant 50 floors high, so there are some shots from from our table looking out on the cityscape. I find I am fascinated with all the glass and steel skyscrapers, which seem to define Vancouver, and there are a few photos taken of the mirror-like windows and distorted images reflecting around me.
Tomorrow we take a boat ride...

Rich, we see that you are fascinated by the glass and reflections. :) Actually, they do make for some very interesting and intriguing photos, I must say. Have fun on the cruise!
Canadians seem to have odd signs! When I was in Ottawa, one said that no bicycles were allowed in a park or you would be fined $357.00..........hummm? I love the Lenin one. Sounds like you are enjoying your sightseeing & eating experiences.
wow great pictures!
