Saturday short update

I have not been to the hospital yet today but I talked with David mid-morning and he said all three had a better night--Emery did better with eating and sleeping, which allowed Bonnie to get more sleep. Hurray! David's sweet mama Rosanne went to visit early this morning and then left to go back home to Amarillo. We had fun being roommates and, more importantly, she was a huge support to the kids. She is a beautiful person, inside and out, and we were blessed by her strong faith, her wisdom, and her loving manner. Thanks, Rosanne!

Some college friends are stopping in to visit today so I am staying at the hotel and trying to catch up on a little bit of work while they are at the hospital. It gets a little hectic and crazy with too many people in the room. If Emery is doing well and Bonnie and David feel up to it, I'll go up later to stay with Emery while they slip out for dinner with their friends.

Here's hoping that Emery has a great day today and we continue to be relentlessly positive, as Dr. Thompson says. :)
